Open Window is an unfinished studio lp by Legendary New Orleans drummer James Black. The reel had been open to the elements of hurricane Katrina for some time. We lovingly treated this precious musical artefact with extreme care. James Black although sort after as a session musician struggled to finish his own musical works . His personal life was some what turbulent, and would get in the way of completing any pencilled studio LP. We present to you in its raw form 6 wonderful tracks ranging from happy rhythms and vocals filled with blossoming optimism to very much dark undertones of depression and anxiety.
